TALL SHIP RED WITCH

Chicago's Wooden Tall Ship

OVERVIEW

Tall Ship Red Witch s a 77-foot Gaff rig topsail schooner whose designer was John G. Alden, long considered one of the world’s greatest naval architects and classic yacht designers. Her dramatic bright crimson hull is constructed from mahogany over oak frames, with a red cedar deck and cyprus cabin tops.  The Schooner RED WITCH was built expressly for chartering. She has been a registered Exhibition Tall Ship, and was awarded flagship status at the State of Ohio’s Bicentennial celebration in 2003 and a participant in the Chicago Tall Ship festival in Aug 2003, 2006, and 2010.  Red Witch was voted “Best Tour and Charter Boat” in 2009 and 2010. She is Chicago’s ONLY wooden tall ship — a genuine, historically-accurate working John Alden schooner on the Great Lakes.

In the beginning of the 2013 season, Red Witch wanted help with their online sales campaigns for their public sails.  With an already established history of working together, and CREOVISIO's extensive knowledge in the space, it was a clear choice for how Red Witch was going to put more wind in their sails, and people in their seats.

EXECUTION.

CREOVISIO quickly created and managed over a dozen online campaigns.  And from the first launch, within 3 months, what resulted was over 3000 individual ticket sails and over $100,000.00 in revenue. Gaining Red Witch exposure to millions, a personal connection with thousands, and revenue to keep the boat sailing onward.

STRATEGY.

By focusing on the distinct differences the service offered compared to competition, and by forming strategic partnerships with dozens of online marketing companies, Red Witch would have a not only a way to outbeat competition, but to rise above it and stand out as a true pioneer and quality experience.

DISCOVERY.

Red Witch was an established brand, but a newly re-formed LLC, looking for ways to stand out and compete in an oversaturated market.  Online sales was one of two major focused to give the company the lift needed to stay afloat.
